Jackson Consulting Services, LLC; was founded by Joshua Jackson, PhD in 2007.
Joshua holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, including a PhD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Joshua has consulted with a broad variety of clients; from a metallurgical R&D project requiring elaborate instrumentation and automation; to bridge dynamics monitoring for the Alabama Department of Transportation. Joshua has served as the Manager of Product Engineering Research and Development at a company serving the intermodal transportation industry; there he introduced a new line of ethernet connected products rugged enough to meet harsh environmental conditions presented by intermodal cargo terminals around the world.
Most recently Joshua is serving as interim CTO and partner for a wearable tracking device for children and elderly.
Joshua is also a licensed pilot and certified scuba rescue diver.
